Using Cutting-Edge Technology for Exceptional Results

At Montrose Crystal, we combine precision craftsmanship with advanced technology to deliver exceptional results. We then employ state-of-the-art techniques such as sandblasting, UV printing, and laser engraving to create intricate designs and personalised messages on glass.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting creates a frosted appearance by scarring the surface with fine grains of sand propelled by compressed air. This technique allows us to engrave your message onto glass, creating a unique and personalised look.

UV Printing

UV Printing, or Ultra Violet Printing, is a technique that uses special UV curing ink. This ink allows for printing on a wide range of materials, providing versatility and high-quality results.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is a process that vaporises materials into fumes to create permanent, deep marks. Acting like a chisel, the laser beam removes layers from the material's surface by hitting localised areas with massive levels of energy, generating the high heat needed for vaporisation. Materials used for this process include acrylic, wood, granite, slate, anodised aluminium, and much more! For engraving glass, we use special machinery, print, and laser.
